4.4.4 Emission
System Warranty Statement

EPNUSA
EMISSIONS CONTROL WARRANTY STATEMENT
Yanmar Diesel Engine Co., Ltd. (Hereinafter referred
to
as
Yanmar) warrants initial
owner
and each subsequent
owner
that
the
engine
is
designed, built and
equipped
so
as
to
conform with
app
licable regulations
for
its
war
ranty period.
Sp
ec
if
ic
emissions-related parts and
compone
nts are warranted
for
the
pe
ri
od
of 5 years
or
3,000 hours, whichever
comes
first, after the
date
of
delivery
to
the
init
ial owner. If any
emissions-related
part
is defective
during
the
warranty period,
the
part
wi
ll
be
repaired
or
replaced
by
Yanmar.
To
ma
intain engine performance and
comp
liance with the regulations,
the
owner
is
responsible f
or
t
he
performance
of
the required
ma
intenance l
is
ted in
the
owner's
manual
du
ring the warranty period.
Th
is emissions warranty
does
not
cover:
1. Failure caused
by
any
of
the
following:
• Abuse, neglect,
improper
maintenance
or
use
of
non-genuine parts.
• Use
of
fuel oil and lubricating oil
not
recommended
for t he engin
e.
• I
mproper
app
lication and installation.
2.
Add-on
or
modification affecting engine emissions.
3. Incidental
or
consequential
damage
.

ponents,
is
provided separately in the
"YA
N
MAR
WARRANTY

NDBOOK".
